‘To Sleep (live at the Crypt)’, recorded with Basia Bartz (violin, BVs) & Vince Webb (piano), is available across digital platforms today.

All proceeds from the track on Bandcamp are being donated to Baytna Baytak, an NGO working to assist the 300,000+ people who have had their homes destroyed after the deadly blast in Beirut on August 4th.

In late April, while in self-isolation, I asked listeners to send me phone footage from their own life in lockdown. Submissions came from as far as Washington DC, Porto, Berlin, Beirut & beyond and I was really touched by them. I wasn’t sure what people would send, being mostly stuck at home, but I compiled all the clips I could into the video below.

I’ve always wanted to record a cover of this track from the film (& musical) ’Annie’ and it is available to purchase from today on Bandcamp.

Hi, and thank you for visiting my page.

As you know, the Covid-19 crisis has wreaked havoc upon the music industry (and the world) as we know it.  With most of our shows cancelled, it is a really difficult time for musicians and people working in the performing arts.

Streaming sites (like Spotify, etc) are of course incredibly popular, but they don’t fairly compensate the creators of the work. Bandcamp are currently waiving their commission on May 1st, June 5th and July 3rd; I strongly encourage music lovers to use this platform to support the artists they love (if they can afford to, at this time.)

With no live shows in the immediate future, I’m currently working on my next album and some other recording projects. Some online events will be announced soon as well.

Lastly, I’m currently collecting phone videos from listeners from their life in lockdown… If you are able to email a 20-30 second video of your experience, filmed on your phone (horizonally) to nadinekhourimusic@gmail.com, I would be so grateful (and of course, will not use it without your approval.)
